Create TrueNAS API Key

First Login into your TrueNas Scale System via the WebUI.

On the Top right Corner you should see the User Icon (next to the power options), click on that.

Then a drop down menu should appear, click on API-Key.

After that click on the Add Button that appears in the top right Corner.

Then choose a Name for the API Key for example: Backup

Now you get shown the API Key, save it as it will not be visible after you close the window.

That is the API Key, that you need to copy into the Script.

Now you created your API Token and can add it to your Bash script.
