Hi there, one of our users has experienced the following issue:
The ATbar text-to-speech feature cannot reliably process very much text at once. The limit is not specified anywhere but seems to be about 50 words or so (although there is a note that "large pages, such as Facebook pages, may require you to select smaller portions of text at a time").
This is not itself an issue, but if this limit (whatever it is) is exceeded, the audio skips about the same amount of text before continuing correctly.
Under the same circumstances, the choice of male or female voice becomes unreliable (usually rendered as female, regardless of choice).
This was tested in Chrome with Moodle. Additionally there is no stop button and the sound seems generally low quality.
