With the upcoming release of Active Login 5.0.0, we will require .NET 6 for all packages that rely (direct or indirect) on ASP.NET. The API wrapper is the only package that still targets .NET Standard to enable API wrapper support for older versions of .NET, .NET Framework included.
.NET 6 is the release of .NET with LTS (Long term support) so it is natural for us to build on that version. With Duende.IdentityServer also requires this it was a natural step to take.
