If you don't mind the possibility of damaging the "remove extension" button on the opened any add-on description at webpage, then you can apply the advice that Stylus displays AdguardTeam/KnowledgeBase#198.

I assume that the AdGuard pop-up lacks space to display the note, then it is left to write a similar article in the AdGuard knowledge base.

  • Optionally, AdGuard Team can play with the appearance of the icon (e.g. grayed and add an exclamation point), where you will prop up a link to KB tips in 3-4 words.

  • Then AdGuard Team (or maybe @scripthunter7) could teach the any bot to add atomatic sublinking to KB to these problematic pages in his "issues".

AdGuard Team could include in it KB a suggestion about these two about:config entries, or recommend a full version of the Windows/macOS application that should manage to skip such a restriction.

I assume that in a few months even the MV3 version of AdGuard and uBO-Lite will not be able to cope with forcing cosmetic rules there, despite the fact that network filtering supposedly occurs and can break webstories.
