Message from user:
"I’m trying to install the AdGuard Assistant on my Thorium, another Chromium browser. And the extension shows the error message of not detecting the AdGuard installation."

Proposed solution

Add assistant support for the Thorium browser to AdGuard

The problem may be that AdGuard doesn't know where to place the native message hosts setting for this browser (since AdGuard does not support it). You could try running the following command in the terminal:

defaults write com.adguard.mac.adguard AppExtensionChromeNativeHostPaths -string '["~/Library/Application Support/Thorium/NativeMessagingHosts"]'

and then restart AdGuard.

Seem like the assistant wouldn't work even if it runs properly as it seems, I can see no log in AdGuard.
