Quotation marks in "Exclude app from filtering" option prevent AG's functioning after update #5087

Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install AdGuard 7.16.
  2. Add "C:\Program Files (x86)\Proton Technologies\ProtonVPN\ProtonVPN.exe" into the "Exclude app from filtering by entering the full path" option's field (Settings -> Advanced settings).
  3. Update to 7.17 version ("About" tab or button in main menu).

Actual Behavior

Update is successfull, but AG can't start properly working (see the screenshot).

Expected Behavior

Update is successfull, AG works in general.

Additional Information

If You remove quotation marks from the path, app will successfully restart.

Btw, we've already fixed this bug, but so far only in nightly channel. The release patch will be published soon
