Aidoku Polluting Anilist's Activity #411
Comments

I've seen this happen for some people but I have no idea what would cause it on aidoku's end, since as far as I know we're just using the API normally. I personally track my stuff on anilist and I've never run into this issue.
this might be a separate issue |
this probably only happens on older/poorer models. i'm using iphone se(2nd generation).

Doubt it, I face this issue on a semi-frequent basis on my 13 Pro Max. I only ever face this on series that use the webtoon reader, or if the app crashes at the end of a chapter. |
Ah, likely another webtoon reader bug then. I'll try and look into this when I can. |
Yeah, this happened to me too while reading Solo Leveling. This might be unrelated, but Aidoku crashed twice while reading Solo Leveling (during the transition page from one chapter to the other), and I noticed that both times it crashed, there were multiple requests sent to MyAnimeList/AniList. Unfortunately, I already cleaned up my Anilist and MyAnimeList history, so I can't really prove it. |
not sure which version since this issue began, but it's been a long time that aidoku sometimes pollutes the activity of anilist and anilist cannot merge them
