Error listing syscall monitoring rules.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Follow the steps in the quick start guide exactly. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
We have tried to trap the system call of Ubuntu and Windows XP virtual machines.
However, we got the following in qemu monitor:

QEMU 0.13.0 monitor - type 'help' for more information
(qemu) list_scmon_rules 
Error listing syscall monitoring rules. See system log for further details.

Where to check the log details?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The latest one downloaded using svn on Ubuntu 11.10 64bit.

Please provide any additional information below.
