Slower than brave after making a fair enough comparison

I wanted to test if Thorium is really that fast and better than Brave, so I downloaded and imported all my extensions and history into this browser and there are a couple of issues.

First before importing addons the difference in performance was insane, JetSream on brave got around 100 points maybe and Thorium got ~400. Next, there was the speedometer test that Brave got ~69 points and Thorium ~400 and of course, the motion test was probably the same BUT after downloading all the extensions to make a fair benchmark it seems like the performance was hit so hard it gave lower points than brave by a lot (Speedometer Thorium gave ~40 points and brave ~65 and JetStream Thorium got 142.184 and brave 156.463)
And in motionmark:

Orange is brave and green is Thorium.

Can somebody explain to me why this is happening? and if the numbers on the benchmarks even matter?
