API involved: {query=قول, view=full} with some slight changes like including all translations . and tafassirs related to it.

Specs:

  • ID of page is gid or sura_romnized_name + aya_id

  • Title of page is "SURA_NAME AYA_NUMBER":
    examples:
    الأية الأولى من سورة الكهف
الأية 2 من سورة آل عمران

  • When the aya has a specific name, it will be good if we added it to title: آية الكرسي ، آية السيف

  • 1st section about the aya text, with its full uthmani symbols, and its standard text, its taffsir , its recitation. it will be good if there is a way to show next aya and previous aya

  • 2nd section about its position in the mushaf, in human language:
تقع الآية في الجزء الأول الحزب الثاني...والصفحة 5 من مصحف ا.

  • 3rd section about Topic, Subtopic...

  • 4th aya lingusitic anotations word by word,

  • 5th section: statistical information ,
تحتوي الآية على 2 لفظ جلالة و18 كلمة

  • 6th section: all translations of that aya in the system

  • a side navbar to browse quran by sura, aya id

  • Unique simple url, either as /ayas/424 or as /suras/albaqara/aya/340

  • Share buttons to all social media

  • In non-arabic pages, romanization should be added to ayas, sura_name, words

  • Page should be well structured in base of headers , keywords to be considered well by search engines

  • All links in the aya search results that link to the aya alone should be replaced by link to this

@sneetsher I think the rewriting is a must now with Python3 , Django, Elastic search, dropping the desktop version, especially the support of python2 is to be dropped in few months.

I prefer to not waste any effort except the efforts towards the rewriting.
