This feature would be useful, but is tricky to implement. There's no indication in the Twitch API Route we currently use of how long a sub has been active or inactive. In order to implement this we'd need to do a regular list update of all subs using a different endpoint and place expired users in the grace period. This is doable, but not sure if it's actually useful.
