Monospace numbers (tabulating figures) would be a Very Good Thing on a font like this.
The use case for “proportional figures” is running text in a paragraph. Whether in spreadsheets or user interfaces, this font’s “technical” nature will find many technical usages — it’s not going to be used as frequently to set literature. When it is, monospace numbers could be available as an open type option for secondary use, but mono spaced numbers should be the default.
We should improve this font and "make numbers monospace", to solve issues like the one described here: Altinn/altinn-studio#7034 (comment)
This will also be perfectly in line with the proprietary DIN-font currently used on altinn.no, and will make replacing that font simpler.
