Hi I am running GNOME on newly released 2021 Macbook. This extension is not displaying the notch on my laptop

Wondering if there's been any progress on resolving this issue? The new M2 machines are coming and I want to use this extension.

Hi, I'm gonna buy a hardware notch with M3 inside as my outdoor laptop, hopefully I can find a way to solve your problem soon (but I need to know how to run GNOME on it).

Thank you, seems there is good progress on Asahi Linux these days, even with GPU acceleration, so GNOME (and by extension the notch) should render very smoothly.
