Hey, check out my PR here, where i added a few more screens & features You can also mark them as favorite if you want to listen again later (Epsiodes last bottom quickfilter) Let me know if this works for you :) Currently (playstore version) you could use the NEW tab in Epsiodes to add them to the queue (start playing) or dismiss them (swipe) - i know, impossible to discover by yourself |
@ajay-gh did this solve your usecase? if so please close this issue, otherwise join the discussion for new feautres on https://forum.antennapod.org/ |
@ ueen, the truth is, I cannot tell. there may be something I am missing. Sorry that I cannot help. |
@ajay-gh If I understand correctly, you want to mark episodes that you don't want to listen, so you're not bothered by them again. Currently you use the 'Mark as played' option, which kinda misrepresents the status (you didn't actually play it). I have the same issue; indeed there's currently no way to mark episodes as 'ignored'. I proposed earlier an 'Inbox' where you can mark episodes as 'ignored'. @ueen has been working on an implementation, to which he linked you. But maybe you can have a look at the images in this forum post. Can you let us know what you think of an 'Inbox' system where you can 'Ignore' episodes? |

Feature request
Problem you may be having, or feature you want:
One of my favorite podcast adds many new podcasts every week, but only 1 or two look interesting to me after reading the description. So picking out those really interesting ones takes time and effort. But it is worth it.
Now, the ones not interesting I would like to remove from view. Up to now I can only mark them "as played" but this doesn't make the list any shorter. And when I get back to the podcast (list) a week or two later, I don't remember whether I played that podcast, or whether I marked it as played, because I didn't like them. So the effort of finding the good one (I sometimes listen to them more then once) starts all over again.
Suggested solution:
Add a context menu command to "hide this podcast".
