Add all current and future episodes to queue automatically #5332
Comments
Could you please describe a bit how you would use that? The queue is supposed to be a curated, manual list of episodes. To me, it doesn't really feel like the queue is of any use when it is flooded with all episodes. |
I want to be able to just randomly play episodes from all my subscriptions without me having to fiddle with it and choose what to play. |
So, actually, you want to filter the "all episodes" list to only show the played ones and have them in a random order? (adding more than 100-200 episodes to the queue will likely make AntennaPod pretty laggy because the queue is not meant for all episodes) |
Yeah, well without the filter. I just want it to play random episodes from the "all episodes" list. |

Feature description
Problem you may be having, or feature you want:
I would like to take all the episodes of all my subscriptions and add them to the queue. In addition to this, all future podcast episodes would also get added to the queue automatically. I tried looking for a way to do this but the closest I could get was to select all episodes in a single subscription and add them to the queue. This is not optimal because it would require lots of manual work if you have a lot of subscriptions and there also isn't a way to automatically add new episodes to the queue.
Suggested solution:
In the episodes tab, it would be nice if I could select all and tap an "Add to queue" button. And also a setting called "Add new episodes to queue automatically".
