Checklist

  • I have used the search function for OPEN issues to see if someone else has already submitted the same bug report.
  • I have also used the search function for CLOSED issues to see if the problem is already solved and just waiting to be released.
  • I will describe the problem with as much detail as possible.
  • If the bug only to occurs with a certain podcast, I will include the URL of that podcast.

App version

3.4.0-beta1 (58db8f1)

Where did you get the app from

Google Play

Android version

13

Device model

Fairphone 5

First occurred

Noticed just now

Steps to reproduce

Open the queue

Expected behaviour

Episodes are sorted based on release date, and 'keep sorted' checkbox is active.

Current behaviour

Episode from 2023 is in the middle of my more recent episodes. Opening the Sort bottom card, no settings are active (which I think shouldn't be possible?).

I'm not 100% sure that my sort settings were reverted upon update (I might have removed this shortly before the update), but it's a bit odd and changes related to the code we're recently made: #6853, #7025, #6789

The recent changes only touched the UI, not the parts that actually sort the queue or save the settings. So I'm pretty sure that it must have been a manual change

no settings are active (which I think shouldn't be possible?).

This is always the case when "keep sorted" is not activated

Ok, then let's assume I'm just forgetful.
