Is this a separate topic from #34, meaning that there should be a friends-system in general?

It is a friend system for now. Only in future the list of ZeroMe will be introduced in this system.

Should this more be like a "follow"-system, where every user can follow any other, or a "friends"-system in terms of a user sends another one a friend request, which has to be accepted to be friends?

Friend system is very better in a chat than a following system.

👌🆗 , I believe it shouldn't be that hard to (if there will be a way of actually getting it) query ZeroMe's DB for matches..
