Hi all,
Recently, I am working on an overtopping obstacle scenario. However, when the water reaches the downstream, the particles start abnormal action (Please see the figures). The downstream boundary is fixed in both the x and y directions. When one of the particles touches the boundary they affect each other. However, when defined the boundary is fixed only in y directions, the points are got stuck on the edge.
Is there any idea why cause that problem or other methods we can apply?
Time step: 0.001
Selected minimum element size: 0.02 m
