Support for private Github host

I would like to support on-prem versions of GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, yes. There is an existing issue about that here:

That work is not currently prioritized, however. Since there is a clear workaround (download the spec and use git tools to check in the file), it will have to wait until some other work is completed first.

That said, perhaps there is someone in the community willing to take on the work?? :)
