A website built with Astro Webframework, SolidJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Paper.js to create a visualizer that can be controlled via MIDI hardware.

Installation ⚙️

No installation required. All up-to-date browsers should be able to run the web app. If not, let me know!

Setup 🎛️

  • Plug in your MIDI hardware, make sure your device can see it.
  • Give your browser access to your MIDI hardware.
  • If no hardware is detected, try reloading the page.

Usage 🎹

At first, there will be no toys selected. Click in the top left on "Settings" and add a new toy. A basic keyboard mapping for channel 1 is also available. It is recommended to use this tool with MIDI.

Use the following keyboard keys to send a signal:

  • W, E, T, Z, U
  • A, S, D, F, G, H, J, K
