Compound types are types that are made up of other types.
Examples are:

Right now rotation also has no way to communicate that the rotation type is a Euler Rotation, and not a different rotation algorithm. Possibly there should be a new field in the compound definition that says it should have a custom data type name and not be "Rotation" but instead "EulerRotation".
