[XML Markers] Automated Tests for Converting Between XML and Protobin

Automated tests should be written that try to convert xml files into protobin files. Then compares the output to a known value. This will allow us to test various parts of the parsing logic without having to write individual unit tests for what is likely mostly generated code.
