ABSTRACT

Kernel is the core program in an Operating System which is first loaded by the bootloader. As a result, init process of a kernel gets initiated to spawn multiple threads to manage various resources.[1] [2] .It is responsible for initializing the system in the required way. The boot time of an Operating System is directed by the number of processes kernel is designed to spawn [3] . The boot time is directly proportional to the number of processes spawned by init [4] .

OBJECTIVE

To reduce the boot time of Operating System.
