Error on Openshift

Loading the app on Openshift as per instructions gives the following error:

you have to add the git repo yourself. openshift seems to be timing out during the first repo clone. i reported this, a bug is filed in red hats bug tracker: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=963794

I added it manually (which worked fine, thanks @tillmzw) but then hit the CSS bug...

Seems that it's related to the time it takes to compile and run the application. It worked before but now the compilation takes longer and I'm not sure I can do something about that.
