Features not in lidraughts-bot:

  • Opening books. Reason: No standard opening book format for draughts.
  • PR 287 Leave ponder control to pydraughts. Reason: pydraughts doesn't control ponder like python-chess.
  • PR 382 Online opening book and egtb. Reason: There is no lidraughts api to get cloud evaluations.
  • PR 422 Offer draw or resign based on online egtb score. Reason: No online egtb for draughts.
  • PR 430 Inform user of game conclusion. Reason: lidraughts doesn't return the result and why the game ended.
  • PR 444 & more Add engine evaluation, pv etc. in the recorded bot games. Reason: pydraughts doesn't support adding comments when writing a PDN file.
  • PR 473 Add matchmaking. Reason: There is no lidraughts api to get the bots that are online.
  • PR 498 Log reason for declining challenges. Reason: The lidraughts api doesn't send a challengeDeclined message when a player declines a challenge.
