v227
This release fixes some issues caused when people from v194 updated to previous version.
v226
Error that happens while updating v194 is resolved.
This update contains changes that were being implemented for months, some things can and will be broken.
Exe Name Change
- Aurora.exe is renamed to AuroraRgb.exe
- There seems to be a cheating software with the same exe name. With this, Aurora will no longer shut itself down when certain games that detect it are opened.
Device Manager is now a separate process
- Existing device plugins will need updates. You can ask them on Github or Discord
Hardware Monitor in AMD systems
- The library for hardware monitoring uses an unsecure driver if you have AMD CPU. This can cause some anti-cheats to not let you play certain games (Valorant Vanguard)
- AMD users need to enable one more setting in Plugin Management
Many other changes and improvements
They are too long to write here. As always, your backups are located at %appdata%/AuroraBackups and you are welcome to join our Discord for help

v225
Changes
- Changed the .exe name from Aurora.exe to AuroraRgb.exe
Apparantly there is a bad software with the same name. This is done to prevent anti-cheats from falsely flagging Aurora
With this, Aurora will no longer close automatically with Forza Horizon 5, Fallout 76 and Helldivers 2 - Added "unsecure drivers" section to Plugin Management tab to see and remove a driver that can be added from Hardware Info module
- Fixed Ambilight Layer average color flicker when resizing a window.
- Fixed Percent (Gradient) layer not having LocalPCInfo state

v223

- Some attempts to fix device options not loading for some people
- Fixed "Blinking Layer" when used with freeform selection
