I dont find properties for ifcMaterial like in Revit. Example: thermal properties, etc

Any news? Looking in the old Sourceforge discussions, this goes back as far as 2017. Meanwhile, many BIM viewers have began to display Material properties.

Is this sentence still true ? It is supported in gbXML so why not in IFC ? When can we expect this to be supported ?

I saw Materials related new features in last release :

• IFC Material Layer information can be added to Revit Material using a set of parameters: IfcMaterialLayer.IsVentilated, IfcMaterialLayer.Name, IfcMaterialLayer.Priority, IfcMaterialLayer.Description, IfcMaterialLayer.Category
• IfcName can also be assigned to Revit Material that will override the name of the material upon export
• Support IFC4 IfcMaterialConstituentSet for export

Only new IFC attributes ? Pset are still unsupported ?

Edit : Missing HasProperties which is reflected as properties in Xbim Xplorer and not IfcRelDefinesBy as stated above

I finally did my own revit material properties exporter using xbim and connecting it with revit. It was not easy...

It's not broken, it was just never implemented. That said, it's on our public roadmap and is actively being worked on.
