Error message with Revit 2022: File is too large to export #458
Comments
Is this Revit 2022 RTM or Revit 22.1? If those errors still occur in Revit 2022.1 (with the latest open source), then the message is incorrect and there is some other issue. If the error message is correct, you should get a very large IFC file as output and then we can figure out which element(s) are bulking it up. Often it is long, thin tubes, or walls with many reveals, or complex railings. |
@AngelVelezSosa We still have this issue on different Revit 2022 projects. Latest update from Revit and Latest update for IFC export are installed. |
Have you been having any other issues with these files? The fact that it is sporadic is odd. Are you using Revit 2022 or Revit 2022.1? We switched IFC technology between these releases so the error conditions could be different between the two. |
Hi, no other issues. But we updated the IFC exporter to 22.5.1.0 and Revit 2022.1.3 still the error occurs: |
i have got the same issue, is there already a solution available? seems the problem started when i updated the IFC exporter addin via Autodesk Desktop app. Revit 2022.1.3 with exporter 22.5.1.0 |
There is a 22.5.2 version - is that better? I know it fixed a specific bug. |
Hi,
We get this error message on multiple Revit file within our Revit 2022 project:
Almost every single Revit file has this problem, altough the Revit files aren't much bigger than previous projects in previous Revit versions. Is this a known issue? Any suggestion how to resolve it?
Regards,
Willem
