This would be a super useful change. Having the podcast name + episode name should be the default behaviour IMO. |

This was recently changed back to correctly setting the artist field instead of the publish date. There is more detail on the reasoning here in issue #48 |

Thank you for the info, I must have missed the issue when I was searching for the problem. |

Currently, Pocket Casts sets the current episodes publish date as in the "artist" field, used for example for the lock screen player, connected Bluetooth devices or CarPlay.
When the "Publish Chapter Titles" option is enabled, the "song title" field is used for the name of the current chapter. When the option is deactivated, the name of the podcast is used.
I suppose, it is more practical to use the currently playing podcast episode's title as the "artist" field, if the "Publish Chapter Titles" option is set. This allows the user to see the current chapter, as well as the current podcast playing.
So I suggest to change the option's behavior accordingly.
What do you all think about that?
P.S.: Perhaps connected to this: it would also be great if the chapter's image would be shown on the lock screen, if available, instead of keeping it the podcast's logo. That would also improve the functionality of the "Publish Chapter Titles/Information" option, in my opinion.
