Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enable Jetpack and connect to your WordPress.com account.
  2. Add Vimeo embed code to the Video Embed Code field of a lesson and save. Refresh the page.
  3. Browse to the lesson on the front-end.

What I Expected

The embed code to remain unchanged and the video to be displayed on the lesson page.

What Happened Instead

The embed code changed to a Vimeo shortcode and the shortcode, not the video, is displayed on the lesson page.

This is fixed in 2.0.0.

Hi @donnapep, this issue appears to still be happening on a self-hosted install with Sensei 2.0.0 and the latest release of wordpress (5.2.2). How best should I proceed? Open a new ticket or provide further info here?

Are there any interim fixes that definitively work?
