Stats: Referrers from WordPress.com Forums misreported?

I have a suspicion that referrers from https://wordpress.com/forums/ are being misreported as "WordPress Dashboard."

I rarely comment anywhere, and I'm not Internet Famous™ enough to be showing up daily in anyone's Dashboard, but as a member of Chiron, I am all over https://wordpress.com/forums/ and yet haven't received any referrers from the forums for a few months.

A few months back, we changed the forums URL from https://en.forums.wordpress.com to https://wordpress.com/forums/ and that's about when referrers from "WordPress Dashboard" started showing up and referrers from the forums stopped.

I suspect perhaps there was a hack on Stats' end for forum referrers that perhaps wasn't updated when the URLs were switched.
