Marketing: Sell Traffic Guide eBook on the onboarding (we're building your site) loading screen

Last year, @donlair created a 100-page eBook called "The Ultimate Traffic Guide: Today’s Best Strategies to Attract More Web Visitors". It's available here.

We bundled this with a plan purchase as part of an email series test, and this offer performed very well in that sales sequence. What if we sold this to free users who opt to not buy a plan for $20?

Here are my assumptions:

• People making a website are somewhat aware that they'll need to get people to visit their website
• Almost everyone needs/wants some traffic to their site, even if just a small amount
• Customers are very likely looking for this information elsewhere, and traffic is one of the most requested topics in Quick Start sessions
• Traffic and marketing are areas that customers likely know are important, but also know they know relatively little about them

Opportunity size: 140k signups per week x 1% take rate for this offer x $20 order value = $28,000 gross cash / week = $1.5MM gross cash annually. If we price it around $10, the annual cash estimate would be $730K. If 5% of the customers who purchase this eBook then go on to purchase a plan, that would be an additional ~$350K gross cash annualized.
