Issue

there are some traces of code when selecting a parent page if the parent page title has some space before closing bracket (   is visible ) or a dash symbol ( – is visible ). The issue occurs in Block Editor.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create pages with titles that include space before closing bracket ( A Space Before Closing Bracket ) and a dash symbol Dash symbol - using block editor.
  2. Open another page in the editor and try to assign a parent page ( pages tab < Page attributes < Parent page ).

I was able to reproduce that with a few different non-latin characters:

Commenting to keep this open. It'd be nice if we could remove encoding symbols everywhere, from a user perspective.
