macOS App: Post editor doesn't display the letter 'y'

One of our users reported that the macOS app doesn't display the letter 'y' in the post editor, even though the letter is displayed in the published post.

Here is an example post: What’s Your Affinity? I Like Gray | Sidewalk Face. This is what the customer sees:

Steps to reproduce the behavior

The site uses an old theme, and we haven't been able to reproduce the issue. The theme is the Chunk Theme.

What I expected to happen

Posts should display all the letters that are added to the editor.

What actually happened

The post editor doesn't display the letter 'y' in the post editor.

Is this specific to the applied theme? Which one?

It may be specific to the retired Chunk theme.

Does this happen on simple or atomic sites or both?

This report is for a WordPress.com Premium plan site.

Is there any console output or error text?

We don't have any information about this.

Level of impact (Does it block purchases? Does it affect more than just one site?)

Likely only a few sites still using the theme.
