Contribution Guidelines

Ensure your pull request adheres to the following guidelines:

  • Check Existing Entries: Before suggesting an addition, please check to ensure the resource is not already listed. We strive to avoid duplicates to keep the list tidy and easy to navigate.

  • Suggesting New Entries: To suggest a new entry, please create a new issue or pull request. In your suggestion, include the following:

    • The name of the resource.
    • A direct link to it.
    • A short, descriptive summary of the resource and why it's awesome.
    • Use the Proper Format: Ensure your submission matches the format and style of the list. Entries should be placed in the appropriate category and listed in alphabetical order.
  • Quality Over Quantity: We prioritize high-quality resources that provide unique value. Please only suggest resources that you believe are truly awesome and beneficial to others.

  • Review Process: All submissions will be reviewed for appropriateness, relevance, and quality. We reserve the right to accept, reject, or request modifications to your submission.

  • Stay on Topic: Ensure that your contribution is relevant to the specific theme and purpose of our Awesome List.

Updating your PR

A lot of times, making a PR adhere to the standards above can be difficult. If the maintainers notice anything that we'd like changed, we'll ask you to edit your PR before we merge it. There's no need to open a new PR, just edit the existing one. If you're not sure how to do that, here is a guide on the different ways you can update your PR so that we can merge it.
