[Feature request] Alternate pan #26

Currently panning uses the middle mouse button. This is impossible on for example laptops, due to not having a middle mouse button.

Possible solutions:

CTRL+drag
arrow keys
scroll (vertical) and shift+scroll (horizontal)

What's wrong about MMB emulation using Left+Right mouse buttons on such device ?
