The az feedback command asks 2 questions:

  1. would you recommend us 1-10.
  2. what do we do well.

One would expect a 3rd question , what do we do "not so well" which would afford the user an opportunity to vent some frustration or report an issue. Unless you only want positive feedback, that is :-)

Hi @mkiernan the questions asked in the latest az feedback are:
"How likely is it you would recommend our Azure CLI to a friend or colleague?"
"What changes would we have to make for you to give us a higher rating?"

Which version of the CLI are you using?

@tjprescott I just ran az feedback on master and got the following:

$ az feedback
We appreciate your feedback! This survey is only two questions and should take less than a minute.

How likely is it you would recommend our Azure CLI to a friend or colleague? [0 to 10]: 10

What do we do really well?

@twitchax what do you think about having 3 questions?

  • rating prompt
  • what do you like
  • what do you not like

After the score, we ask one further question. Depending on the score you give, the question differs.
If score is 10, we ask What do we do really well?.
If score < 10, What changes would we have to make for you to give us a higher rating?.

Got it. What I didalso was gave it a '10', but I also wanted to write a feedback comment. I think it would be best to ask the question even if the user gives a 10.

I think it may be best to go with @devigned's suggestion here.

  • "How likely is it you would recommend Azure CLI to a friend or colleague?"
  • "What does the Azure CLI do well?"
  • "Do you have any suggestions for improvements to the Azure CLI?"
