Failed to set up Linux diagnostic extension v 3.0. #498

If you're also using the OMS Extension (omsagent), there appears to be an incompatibility between the two. That was definitely the case for version 1.4.1-123 of omsagent, but there may still be an issue with 1.4.2-124. We expect to correct this in the next release of LAD 3.0 so that it will install and work correctly with the latest OMS extension. |

We're seeing the same issue here with LAD 3.0.119 (provisioning failed) and OAL 1.9.1 (provisioning succeeded) STATUS MESSAGE Failed to set up mdsd dependencies: omsagent setup failed 5 times. Last exit code=3, Output=setup_omsagent_for_lad(): fluentd out_mdsd plugin install failed. |

Any updates here ? We are facing the same error with LAD 3.0.119 (provisioning failed) and OMSAgentforLinux 1.10.5 (provisioning succeeded) Even the earlier workaround of installing LAD first and then OMS is not working. Please advice |
