If you're also using the OMS Extension (omsagent), there appears to be an incompatibility between the two. That was definitely the case for version 1.4.1-123 of omsagent, but there may still be an issue with 1.4.2-124. We expect to correct this in the next release of LAD 3.0 so that it will install and work correctly with the latest OMS extension.

Any updates here ? We are facing the same error with LAD 3.0.119 (provisioning failed) and OMSAgentforLinux 1.10.5 (provisioning succeeded)
Failed to set up mdsd dependencies: setup_omsagent(): Failed at restarting omsagent (fluentd). Exit code=1, Output=control_omsagent(restart) failed. Output:

Even the earlier workaround of installing LAD first and then OMS is not working.
LAD installation fails with above error.

Please advice
