Get-AzVMExtension returns single workspace when multiple are configured in MMA #13815
Comments
Thanks for the feedback! We are routing this to the appropriate team for follow-up. cc @Drewm3, @avirishuv. Issue DetailsDescriptionWhen running the Get-AzVMExtension cmdlet using Az.Compute 4.7.0 running in Cloudshell against a Windows 2016 Azure VM only a single workspace is returned when multiple are configured on the machine. I want to be able to check that a VM is not already reporting to the workspace before trying to add it in. This isn't possible if not all the workspaces are listed and I can't see another way to list workspaces. The single workspace is does return doesn't appear to be related to the order in which it is configured in the Microsoft Monitoring Agent applet in Control Panel. Could someone advise on whether this is behavioural, a bug or if there is an alternative way, please? Steps to reproduce

@airwalk-neilashbysenior , @jaylabell , How did you setup the multiple workspaces on the VM exactly? I am unable to repro this. |

Description
When running the Get-AzVMExtension cmdlet using Az.Compute 4.7.0 running in Cloudshell against a Windows 2016 Azure VM only a single workspace is returned when multiple are configured on the machine.
I want to be able to check that a VM is not already reporting to the workspace before trying to add it in. This isn't possible if not all the workspaces are listed and I can't see another way to list workspaces.
The single workspace that is returned doesn't appear to be related to the order in which it is configured in the Microsoft Monitoring Agent applet in Control Panel.
Could someone advise on whether this is behavioural, a bug or if there is an alternative way, please?
Thanks.
