i keep getting the above error when i attempt to connect to mysql server from visual studion code editor. The problem is that i am not sure i understand what this error means and how to solve the problem plus i could use a little help on upgrading MySQL client.

Unfortunately, the new authorization system (MySQL 8) is not supported
