syncing not working on new repo's

I copied the files from my project .settings repo that works well with all the "project" repos to my "addon" repo .settings files and it's not functioning. I've updated all the repo names, added the secret abut it keeps saying it has bad credentials. What could I be doing wrong? Everything LOOKS the same.
