one who rushed early to the tombs of these Righteous Ones, having incense and
wine and wheat, the unction and candles and wax , gold and silver, will take
the reward and the recompensation, the glory, the justice in the Kingdom of
Heaven and will enter where the Righteous Ones are, in the obedience of God,
and will inherit the eternal life. And Christ gave this covenant to His
Righteous Ones. May their prayer and their blessing be with their servant Gabra
Śǝllāse. This is the book which the painter, ʾalaqā Radā Mallas, bought with
his own money, and donated to (the church of) Qǝddus Mikāʾel Bet Mǝḵāʾ, in
1927, in the time of Luke (the Evangelist). And our metropolitan (is) ʾabbā
Yǝsḥaq, and our King Ḫāyla Śǝllāse and the gabaz (is) qes Gabra Madḫǝn, qes
Mǝsgǝnnā, and our lord is Ḫāyla Śǝllāse. May the one who stole this book and
the one who destroyed it be excommunicated thought the power of the Father and

painter, ʾalaqā Raddā Mallas, bought with his own money, and donated to
(the church of) Qǝddus Mikāʾel Bet Mǝḵaʾ, in 1927, in the time of Luke
(the Evangelist). And our metropolitan (is) ʾabbā Yǝsḥāq, and our King
Ḫāyla Śǝllāse and the gabaz (is) qes Gabra Madḫǝn, qes Mǝsgǝnna, and
our lord is Ḫāyla Śǝllāse. May the one who stole this book and the one
who destroyed it be excommunicated thought the power of the Father and
the Son and Holy Spirit.</foreign></q>
