<summary> The full-page miniatures, in the <term key="SecondGondarineStyle">Second Gondarine Style</term>, were executed, or more likely painted, by
different artists, probably belonging to the same workshop. Those on <ref target="#d1 #d2"/> are much finer than the others and executed by the
same hand. That of the Crucifixion on <ref target="#d3"/> is more hastily
executed than the previous two, its shading is less delicate and its lines
less rounded. That on <ref target="#d4"/> also differs in several respects,
the background is monochrome and the artist has mistaken the outlining of
Takla Hāymānot's hair or turban for a halo: a mistake not made elsewhere and
a strong indication that he was following an underdrawing that was not his
own. Finally, in comparison with the others, the miniatures on <ref target="#d5"/> are crude and unsophisticated. </summary>
