<condition key="deficient">
The sewing is completely damaged on the spine thus it was heavily reparaired with different kind of thread.
The lower board is broken in two halves held together by a leather string passing through the holes.
Quire 1 and quire 2 are stained with dirt along the lower part showing signs of intense use.
There are tears on the margins. The parchment is of a good manifacture. Tears occurred during the manifacture were repaired using vegetal thread.
On fol. 18v there is a wide white stain, probably a starch based adhesive.

Since the bifolia show the same irregularity in the lineup of the text pricks, probably the same template has been used during the pricking.
Some bifolia are pricked from the flesh side, other from the hair side.

Fol.15 is written on one column, ff.16-18 are on two columns. Only the vertical lines are ruled, so the number of written lines vary.
The first bifolium of the quire 3 (fols. 15-18) has been rotated and reused. In fact, along the upper margin, there are small holes corresponding
to the pricks for horizontal lines, never completed.
