Description: scMaSigPro is a polynomial regression-based approach inspired by
the MaSigPro Bioconductor package. It discretizes the expression of
individual cells along pseudotime while preserving the order of cells.
Subsequently, it applies the maSigPro model to identify genes exhibiting
significant expression profile differences among branching paths.
