The sterile hood is way too complicated and haven't been completed two years in a row. I suggest not building but just buying a plastic box like other workshops we had.

I think there are 2 parts for the sterile hood. The filter/fan assembly and the actual box. The box we substitute with any reasonable box, but we should make the filter/fan. (I think we were having troubles finding the IKEA fan in Japan that Waag has in their BoM.

I agree we should make the fan part our self. I'll look out for alternative parts.

Agreed. I talked to Roland van Dierendonck (co-organiser of BHA5 @waag) about the un-availabilty to the IKEA part in Japan. Let's find an alternative!

Yes, fantastic! I think the challenge is to find a readily-available (and cheap) alternative to the IKEA fan.
