The property topology has been defined for a DNA, see doc for details.

In that document, a set of terms are defined for the range (Linear|Circular|Undefined). Does it make sense to make DefinedTerm a permitted range?

I would say it does make sense yes! To be more specific, the Linear and Circular terms should probably be linked to their Sequence Ontology terms when possible:

Not sure what URI could be used for undefined, but yes DefinedTerm being a permitted range sounds correct to me!
