What do you want

The ability to copy and paste things on a tty on Linux or bsd.

Why

As a text based program, it is incomplete without this ability.

Implementation hints

This I am unsure about, although i've seen modern linux consoles being able to copy paste with mouse like in x.

How do other TUI apps do this?

iirc, copy pasting is non existent in the tty, people use tmux or other terminal multiplexers to copy paste.

Then this is a problem cordless can't solve. E.g. the solution is to to use tmux or smth like that.
