What do you want

A audible notification when receiving a message that would trigger a notification.

Why

Sometimes you don't see a notification, but maybe you'd hear it instead.

Implementation hints

Since I am currently working on voice chat right now, I have tried out portaudio. It would be convenient if I could just use portaudio for this feature as well.

Not sure if this really makes sense, as some systems, such as windows already do sound for notifications. So maybe this should be a system decision afterall.

Does cordless support showing notifications from within the terminal?

Maybe it'd be disabled by default, but this would help users like me who don't have a desktop environment

I am asume you mean terminal bell?

Maybe. I guess I meant a way to see that you got a DM message when in server mode (and vice versa, seeing that you got a server message when in DM mode)

If the notifications are broken for you, hit me up.

I didn't notice any, but I'll check when I get home 👍

This issue is kinda non-sensical, as it goes against what a terminal should. If anything, maybe using terminal bell would be an option.
