I think it is possible to use XSLT format instead of RFC. This will allow to prepare transforming file for patch set, and then apply it on the client side with existing tools (while with RFC format i need to deploy this tool too).

I.e. instead of creating RFC-patch with http://sourceforge.net/projects/xmlpatch
and then applying it with this library,
just prepare .xslt
